What is GeoSlice?
GeoSlice takes place from 4:30-6:00 pm the evening of your DLS presentation at a local pizzeria, The Pie Underground. The Pie is located a block west of campus (1320 E 200 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84102). The department pays for pizza; drinks and other food items are paid for by individual participants. It's a casual gathering that gives our grads as chance to chat with faculty and guest speakers. For multiple reasons, we do not do GeoSlice every week. If you are interested in attending, we will let you know if we are able to do GeoSlice the day of your presentation.
